ICELAND, Garðabær. Food processing solutions provider Marel announced the appointment of Olafur Karl Sigurdarson as Executive Vice President Marel Fish. Sigurdarson has been with Marel since 2015.
According to a Marel press release, Sigurdarson will be responsible for growing Marel’s position as a global provider of solutions, services and software for the seafood processing industry. The former Innovation Director for Fish replaces Gudbjorg Heida Gudmundsdottir, who accepted another position outside Marel.
