Olafur has been with Marel since 2015 when he joined as a Product Manager for the Inspection product group. He has since held various positions in service and innovation, such as Service Director of Fish and, most recently, Innovation Director for Fish.
ICELAND, Garðabær. Food processing solutions provider Marel announced the appointment of Olafur Karl Sigurdarson as Executive Vice President Marel Fish. Sigurdarson has been with Marel since 2015.
According to a Marel press release, Sigurdarson will be responsible for growing Marel’s position as a global provider of solutions, services and software for the seafood processing industry. The former Innovation Director for Fish replaces Gudbjorg Heida Gudmundsdottir, who accepted another position outside Marel.
