AUSTRIA, Oftering. The Almi Group has grown by another company. With the company Italdroghe Srl, a strong partner on the Italian market could be won, which will be part of the company from May 2021. After Bioscienece Food Solutions GmbH, Rüther Gewürze GmbH, Natural Power GmbH and Innov8 GmbH, Italdroghe Srl is already the fifth subsidiary of the group.

Italdroghe Srl, based in San Martino di Lupari Italy, has been successfully represented on the Italian market since 1920. With a product range of around 700 products in different packaging variations, Italdroghe Srl is a convincing supplier to more than 600 customers throughout Italy, with the majority of products sold in food retail outlets.

In the future, the new acquisition will also be responsible for the distribution of Almi products in Italy. In particular, the existing warehouse as well as the existing logistics can be used for the distribution throughout Italy.

Strategic growth is the hallmark of the Almi Group, and the global network of partners and subsidiaries is being steadily expanded in order to open up new markets and customer segments. The Almi Group, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, specializes in the production of high-quality spice preparations, additives and food supplements. With the help of the newly acquired subsidiary, the Group is not only expanding its product portfolio, but is also adding an additional production site. In this way, the position in the international food industry can be strengthened in the long term and the constantly increasing demands of the industry can be met even better.
