CEO Succession
GERMANY, Kirchberg im Wald. Christian Boxleitner takes over the position as CEO of Mesutronic, after former CEO and founder Karl-Heinz Dürrmeier is stepping down in preparation for his retirement. During a transition period until May 2022, Dürrmeier will continue to be active in a consulting function.
Before being appointed as the new CEO, the 47-year-old Boxleitner had gained experience with the company as a development engineer. In preparation for the succession, he had been responsible for marketing and sales for the past year.
According to Boxleitner, one of his primary goals is further increasing the use of digitalization tools to improve customer service and customer-focused products. Boxleitner believes that “a positive customer experience will become a central differentiating element in the competition.”
