GERMANY, Cologne. Every three years, Anuga FoodTec is the hotspot for the global food and beverage industry and the meeting point for visionaries and decision-makers.

As the world's only supplier fair, it covers all aspects of food production. With over 50,000 trade visitors from 154 countries and around 1,700 exhibitors, Anuga FoodTec registered record values in 2018. The exhibitors bring all key sections of the industry together in one location and show live and in action how the digital transformation can be successfully designed and implemented – across all industries and processes.

More every year

The exhibitors offer the entire range of products available worldwide for the production, filling, packing and storing of food and beverages. This year's Anuga FoodTec will be even bigger. The exhibitors will present their products on over 150,000 m2 – 20 football fields full of innovations and exciting ideas. With wider aisles, the eGuard app to direct the visitor flow, and a camera-based people counting system, the organizers offer a successful and safe experience. In combination with Anuga FoodTec@home, this creates a platform where experts and decision-makers from all areas of the food and beverage industry come together to jointly develop new and sustainable approaches for the F&B sector.

Safe experience

Together with local health authorities, Koelnmesse has developed a series of measures that are seamlessly integrated. So that visitors can have safe and successful personal discussions and make new contacts. Participation in the Koelnmesse events is very simple: Visitors need a digital ticket on the trade fair app as well as the digital EU-DCC proof as vaccinated, recovered or tested. For non-EU citizens without access to the EU DCC certificate, there are exceptions, which are explained on the website.

The centrepiece of any trade fair is the personal contact: According to the requirements of the Corona Protection Ordinance and in close coordination with the authorities, the organizers have developed numerous measures that ensure professional safety at the highest level and create an environment in which your business can grow again.
