GERMANY, Großostheim. In 2020, the Vion Food Service business unit – with its strong brands Salomon FoodWorld and FVZ Convenience – will expand further its management competencies.
In order to build further on the success factors of the past, in innovation and marketing expertise, and to further strengthen the position of the brands in national and international business, specific areas of responsibility have been redefined.
The management team of Salomon FoodWorld will be expanded:
• Jochen Kramer will join the management team and assume responsibility for Marketing and Innovation management.
• Simon Morris will continue to be responsible for all commercial activities.
• Anne Henningsen, who has successfully led the Vion Food Service operations and finance groups for the past decade, will be continue to lead these departments
Following years of successful Food Service results and a long term personal plan, Bernd Stark will be handing over the baton to Simon Morris, who will assume responsibility for the business units profit and loss as COO Vion Food Service, together with Anne Henningsen who is responsible for finance. Simon Morris will take over from Bernd Stark officially midyear 2020.
At the request of the management board, and as of the middle of 2020, Bernd Stark will strengthen Vion’s strategic leadership team by further developing innovation management, strategic customer management, and commercial management at Vion.
