In the next few days, the first container of 25 t of boneless beef will arrive in Africa. It has been 6 years since the country exported to this market.

The National Government, through the Secretariat of Government of Agroindustry and Chancellery, informed that the first shipment of 25 t of boneless bovine meat was dispatched from the Santa Giulia refrigeration plant, in the province of Buenos Aires.

The health certificate, which is operated through the National Service of Health and Agrifood Quality, applies since 2005 for boneless beef.

It should be noted that in December last year the Ministry of Foreign Affairs made an official visit to expand exports to Tunisia, benefiting the opening of new markets such as meat.

Tunisia is a potential export market for Argentina, since every year the negotiations advance in a positive way. During 2018, certificates were approved to export edible bovine gelatin.
