GERMANY, Biberach/Riss. Albert Handtmann Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG has restructured its top management.

Harald Suchanka has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Management, who is also responsible for all sales activities of the Filling and Portioning Systems Division. This is stated in a press release issued by the Biberach-based company.

In addition, Valentin Ulrich, a member of the company's management and grandson of Arthur Handtmann, who died in 2018, is the new commercial managing director of the machine factory, in charge of finance, controlling, services and infrastructure. A successor has already been found for the position of technical managing director, who will take up his post in the course of the year, the machine manufacturer informs.

After 23 years with the company, long-time Handtmann managing director Karl Keller has retired for reasons of age. Due to the current pandemic situation, his farewell was held on a small scale with the company's executives from Biberach and parts of the workforce. Thomas Handtmann, managing partner of the family-owned company, and Harald Suchanka thanked him for the very good cooperation and his responsible management.
