Marel Food Systems announces the appointment of Hrund Rudolfsdottir as Corporate Director of Human Resources, a new position within the company’s organisational structure.
Since 2007, Mrs. Rudolfsdottir has been serving as the Managing Director of Operations and Investment Projects at Milestone/Moderna hf., an international financial company based in Iceland. Prior to that, she was the Managing Director of L&H holding company from 2003-2007 and the Managing Director of Lyf & heilsa hf., a pharmacy retailer, from 2003-2006.
Ms. Rudolfsdottir sits on the Board of Directors of of Pharma Investment in Holland, as well as the boards of a number of Icelandic companies and organisations.
Mrs. Rudolfsdottir holds an M.Sc. in international marketing and management from the Copenhagen Business School and a Cand.Oecon. degree in business administration from the University of Iceland. She is married and has three daughters.
Mrs. Rudolfsdottir will take up her new position in March 2009.
