Klöckner Pentaplast appoints president

The Klöckner Pentaplast Group has appointed Dr. Hans-Joachim Kogelnik as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the company’s European operations.
Prior to joining Klöckner Pentaplast, Kogelnik served as Advisory Board member for Ineos ABS, a joint venture between Lanxess and Ineos. Prior that position, he was Global Head of the business unit Lustran Polymers at Lanxess. Kogelnik has over 20 years experience with Bayer AG and Lanxess to include general management of global business units, operations, innovation, marketing/product management, and supply chain management in all regions of the world.

The Klöckner Pentaplast Group is the world’s leading producer of films for pharmaceutical, medical device, food, electronics, and general-purpose thermoform packaging, as well as printing and specialty applications.
