IMS President opened 5. China International Meat Industry Exhibition

On the sidelines of the Fourth IMS World Pork Conference, the Fifth China international Meat Industry Exhibition was held in Nanjing, China.

In addition the Second China International Meat Foodstuff Festival took place this week. The three events had been jointly organised by the International Meat Secretariat (IMS) and the China Meat Association.

In an area of nearly 40,000 square meters, about 800 enterprises showed the whole industrial chain of meat foodstuff including meat processing, meat processing machinery and equipment, additives and ingredients, packaging, meat processing techniques and research achievements.

On Monday the red carpet had been spread out in Nanjing, when IMS-President Patrick J. Moore (at the microphon) together with (from right) VDF (Association of German Meat Industry) President Paul Brand and Member of IMS Board Franz Gausepohl as well as with Li Shuilong, President of China Meat Association (CMA), opened the Fifth China International Meat Industry Exhibition.
