IRELAND, Cork. 63rd International Congress of Meat Science and Technology (ICoMST) will be taking place in Cork, Ireland, from the 13–18 August. With over 150 different organisations represented from over 65 countries, this truly embodies an unparalleled global collaboration of the brightest minds in meat science, research and innovation.
The organisators are assembling a Congress with over 500 short papers, all of which are being critically-peer-reviewed. Over fife exciting days 13 sessions are planned, in which scientific, industry and policy experts will be sharing new findings, practical experiences and lessons learned in their respective fields.
These highly stimulating sessions will cover topics from sustainability, production and welfare to meat safety, processing and the effect on health, which will be of direct interest to all stakeholders. In addition to a packed programme on thought provoking topics of global interest, delegates can avail of additional activities including a special symposium on grass fed meat and a pre-congress workshop in Dublin on meat eating quality and the implementation of UNECE standards.
