The 65th International Congress of Meat Science and Technology 2019 in Potsdam/Berlin, Germany 04– 09 August 2019 is themed ‘Meat for Diversifying Markets’.

The conference team invites you to submit electronic abstracts on one of the main themes via the abstract submission system and thus, enrich this year’s Icomst with your contribution. Among all abstracts, the best abstracts will be chosen for oral presentation. Furthermore, the team offers the possibility to present your data within our Poster Exhibition.

The deadline for abstract submission is April 15, 2019. Thereafter, abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee. Authors will be notified of the acceptance/rejection of their abstract(s) beginning of May 2019.

Abstracts must be submitted electronically; the preferred type of presentation can be selected during the submission process. The submission should be written in English. The abstract should not contain more than 5200 letters (including spaces). It can include up to 3 figures/images to your abstract. It needs to have up to 4 keywords to your abstract. The abstract needs to be structured in introduction, methos, results, discussion and literature. Each abstract must include an email address for a nominated author, for reader queries and the source of.

All selected abstracts will be available in a pdf that can be downloaded from the meetings homepage. The contact information defined on the abstract form must be that of the presenting author, all correspondence will be sent to the presenting author. Conference registration by at least one author is essential.
