GERMANY, Cologne. The countdown begins to the biennial Anuga, the world’s leading food fair for the retail trade and the foodservice and catering markets. Taking place at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany, from 10 to 14 October, Anuga features 10 specialised trade show segments in one location.
The meat segment will include more than 850 exhibitors from 45 countries and will span three exhibit halls. Exhibitors showcase everything from traditional meat and poultry to exotic game, specialty charcuterie and gourmet deli meats.
Meat and poultry in the form of ready meals and convenience foods will also be showcased in other segments, including Chilled & Fresh Foods, Fine Food, Foodservice, Frozen Food and Organic. The other four segments are: Bread, Bakery and Hot Beverages, Dairy, Drinks and RetailTec. In total, the fair will include more than 6,800 exhibitors from more than 100 countries ready to do business with around 155,000 trade visitors from nearly 200 countries.
