DENMARK, Grindsted. Ingredients supplier Dupont has developed a new egg white replacement system for plant-based meat alternatives.
The Grindsted Plant-Tex Solution has been designed for meat alternatives, an area in which the business sees huge opportunity. The Plant-Tex range consists of MAl201 for Burger Patties, MA1301 for Cooked Sausages and MA1110 for Cold Cuts.

Plant-Tex is cholesterol- and allergen-free and has no ingredients of animal origin. It increases food safety by natural elimination of risk of bird flu or salmonella.

"Today we offer our system only in Europe, Middle East and Africa, but in 2020 we are planning to make it available worldwide."
