Colorado State University Professor of Animal Behavior Temple Grandin, Ph.D., will be the subject of a new HBO film that will premiere February 6.
The film, Temple Grandin, paints a picture of Grandin’s perseverance and determination while struggling with the isolating challenges of autism.
Grandin is the author of AMI’s Recommended Handling Guidelines and Audit Guide, is a member of AMI’s Animal Welfare Committee and has been the Institute’s principal animal welfare advisor since 1991. Grandin is also the recipient of the AMI Industry Advancement Award – the Institute’s highest award.
Grandin is the best-selling author of Thinking in Pictures, Animals in Translation and Humane Livestock Handling.
