Domino's Pizza, originally from the USA, is one of the leading pizza delivery services worldwide and celebrated the opening of their first branch in Germany on November 6, 2010 in Berlin.
In so doing, the New York stock exchange listed company is cementing a further milestone in the expansion of its international network. The first Domino's Pizza branch in Germany is located at Kantstrasse 60 in Berlin-Charlottenburg.
With over 9,000 of its own and franchised outlets in more than 60 countries, the company, originally founded 1960 in the USA, now ranks among the largest and bestknown pizza delivery services worldwide. Around the globe, over one million Domino's Pizza customers use the delivery service daily and every year more than 400 million Domino's Pizzas are delivered to the door on all continents.
In 2009, the company recorded a global turnover of 5.6 billion US dollars. Right from the very beginning, the company has focused on three core principles of first-class service, high quality of all products used and a delivery guarantee within 30 minutes.
To ensure a successful market launch in Germany, the US pizza giant is relying on the local expertise of the German franchisee Yakir Gabay, the founder of Grand City Property Group and Grand City Hotels. It has also attuned the product range to specially suit the German market.
