RUSSIA, Moscow. Deputy Ministers of Agriculture Elena Fastova and Oksana Lut held a working meeting on the development of measures to increase investment in agriculture by 2024.
The event was held with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, trade unions, business community and specialists of the Ministry of Economic Development.
By 2024 the volume of private funds raised in agriculture, forestry, hunting and fishing should grow to 822 bn. rubles, compared to 444 bn. rubles in 2017, with an average annual growth rate of 4.5%. In particular, the volume of investment in food production is planned to increase up to 356 bn. rubles over this period, compared to 192 bn. rubles in 2017.
