Danish Crown appointed Jesper Friis the new division director of the company's Pork Division.
The pork division is the company's largest with revenues of more than DKK30 bill. ($5.2 bill.). Friis takes responsibility for the division from Kjeld Johannesen, chief executive officer.
Friis comes to Danish Crown from Carlsberg, where he was senior vice president, Western Europe. He has worked for Carlsberg since 2005. In addition to regional responsibilities, he has also been sales director in Denmark and CEO of Carlsberg's subsidiary in Norway.
