In response to the escalating situation surrounding the spread of Covid-19 and corresponding advice from world governments and health organisations, it has been announced that the World Steak Challenge has been postponed until 2021.

The prestigious event was in its sixth year and was set to take place at the Fire Steakhouse & Bar in Dublin.  It is the only competition in the world to give steak producers and suppliers a much-needed platform to showcase product quality, breed credentials, processing standards and flavour on an international stage.

With the deadline for entries set to be open until May 11th and the winner’s announcement due to take place on July 9th, it was decided that it was in the best interests of entrants, judges, guests and staff to postpone this year’s challenge.
