The president of the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA), Francisco Turra, emphasized that the acquisition of 40% of Vibra Group, producer and exporter of poultry in Brazil, by the US Tyson Foods, reaffirms the positive moment experienced by the productive sector.

Five years after selling its operations in Brazil, Tyson returns to the country through one of the largest national chicken meat agro-industries.

According to Turra, the indicators favorable to sector growth are attracting foreign investment to poultry farming, as well as to pig farming in the country. "Brazil's animal protein sector is once again one of the main drivers of national economic growth.  The intensification of exports highlights a sustainable and very attractive framework for new investments", he analyzes.
