The Anuga FoodTec meat and food processing equipment exhibition opened its doors in Cologne Germany today expecting to break all records.
The exhibition boasts 1,334 exhibitors from 41 countries - more than 400 more exhibitors than in previous years.
More than half of the exhibitors come from outside of Germany.
The show organisers are expecting visitor numbers to also break records with a rise of more than 10% on last year.
The theme of this year's exhibition is covering three main areas: Food Processing, Food Packaging and Food Safety.
The exhibition also has a full programme of seminars and forums arrange together with the German agricultural organisation DLG, to reflect the themes of the show.
The exhibition will also be hosting a careers day to link up exhibitors with students and graduates.
The show will run until Friday 30 March.
