SWITZERLAND, Vevey. Nestlé launches vegan alternatives to cheese and bacon. The new alternatives will complement the existing range of herbal burger patties. This makes the company the first food company to develop and produce the three main ingredients of a vegan bacon cheeseburger according to own statements.
The food manufacturer makes the vegan ingredient trio available to business customers such as restaurant and catering operators. The company already offers the vegetable burger patties for out-of-home use. The company will launch the complete range of veggie burger patties, cheese and bacon in 2020.
