China Provisur opens new facilities
The office, which began operations in February 2016, extends Provisurʼs work in serving a broad range of markets and applications including red meat, pork, poultry, seafood, fruits and vegetables, bakery, luncheon meat and cheese.
The U.S. based company designs and manufactures proven grinding, mixing, separating, forming, coating, cooking, freezing, slicing and autoloading food processing technologies.
According to Paul Heskens Vice President of Provisurʼs Asia Pacific unit, the Shanghai office, along with Provisurʼs Bangkok office that opened in 2010, will help food companies in that market keep up with burgeoning demand for a variety of products.
To ramp up and meet anticipated increasing sales and service support needs, Provisur's Shanghai operation will continue its growth based on the demands of the market. The company's Bangkok office also plans to continue hiring employees to strengthen its operations.
The combined resources in Shanghai and Bangkok will further establish Provisur's standing as a leading food machinery supplier in the Chinese and Asia Pacific market, says Mel Cohen, Provisur President and CEO. “Equally important, all of our equipment and systems are backed by a range of technical support to help keep our customers' highspeed food processing lines running smoothly.” he adds.
