The commercial operations of more than 20 agricultural facilities in the eastern United States now will be coordinated a stone’s throw from Purdue University. This was reported by Agrinews.
Cargill’s Agricultural Supply Chain North America, East Region, West Lafayette, has relocated its offices to the Purdue Research Park. The Cargill Agricultural Supply Chain organization connects agricultural producers to food, feed and industrial customers throughout North America.

The Cargill team is responsible for buying agricultural products from U.S. producers. They also will handle accounting and other commercial and logistic operations for the various facilities in the region. The office initially will employ 26 people, with the potential to grow to 30.

Being at the Purdue Research Park keeps the company very centrally located for their facilities. There’s also the added benefit of being close to Purdue’s College of Agriculture and all the businesses at this park. It makes a lot of sense for us to be here
