Germany and the other EU-Member States annually prepare a Report on Trends and Sources of Zoonotic Agents. Since June 2004 the requirements for this report are fixed in directive 2003/99/EC. For the collection of data on official food control and identification of
trends, questionnaires covering the preceding year are made available on the internet. This contribution shows the evaluation of the results reported by the competent authorities of the Laender in 2010 on foods sampled under a sampling plan. The report focuses on Salmonella, Campylobacter, E. coli (VTEC/STEC) and Listeria monocytogenes.
